Savi's Warbler Locustella luscinioides

Savi's Warbler breed in the middle and lower middle latitudes of the Western Palaearctic. They are restricted to lowland areas and the distribution is scattered across western Europe. Savi's Warblers breed in small numbers in Britain and France.

There is one Bailiwick record involving at least three birds. Their presence was confirmed on May 20th 1968 when one bird was trapped at Le Marais, St Sampson. It was probably present from May 20th and remained until at least June 18th. Two other birds were heard and seen singing during this period.
