Alpine Accentor Prunella collaris


 

The Alpine Accentor has a large geographical range, breeding in the mountains of southern temperate Europe and Asia at heights above 2000m. It is mainly resident but small numbers do winter more widely at lower latitudes. Is is an occasional vagrant to the UK.

There has been one typical spring record of on individual seen at Corbiere on 19 May 1988.
