Your Sightings

Here you can enter and view your sightings in the database.

You can enter your data in two ways 'Casual Records" or submit a 'Complete List' for a site. The reason we are asking for complete lists is that common birds are very under-recorded in the database - for instance there were no records of Blue and Great Tit or even Magpie in 15 years since the start of the electronic database in 1993. By recording common birds we can start to detect when they start to get in trouble. Once reasonably common species like Mistle Thrushes and Skylark have now all but disappeared as breeding species and it is important to record them.
